  • How do we pay tuition?
    We accept two forms of payments through Playground: ACH transactions (bank draft), and automated Credit Card/Debit Card transactions. All families must have either an ACH or Credit/Debit card on file with the CLC before a child can attend. Credit/Debit card transactions will include a 3% processing fee for each transaction.
  • How do I register?
    Go to the Registration page (Home Screen, Resources, Registration) on this website and it will connect you with our app Playground and you will be able to register your student. You will be notified if you are put on the wait list or accepted after completion of the form. If you are accepted you will be asked to pay a $100 registration fee. If you are put on the wait list you will not be asked to pay the registration fee until accepted.
  • What is the schedule for childcare?
    Hours of Operation are as follows: Full-Day Program 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Program is open to all students August – July and the apart from the following holidays: Labor Day Wednesday prior closing at 12, Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Christmas Break – closed 1 week after New Year’s Day Martin Luther King Jr. Day Good Friday Memorial Day Independence Day (Fourth of July) In-Service Day (date varies)
  • What is your attendance policy?
    If your child will not be at the CLC for any reason, then please call the office no later than 9:30 a.m. so we may have an adequate lunch count. Children must be at the CLC no later than 9:30 a.m. in order to be in-attendance for the day, with the exception of doctor’s appointments. If your child does not arrive by 9:30 a.m., then your child will not be accepted into the classroom.
  • What curriculum do you use?
    We teach according to the GELDS - Georgia Early Learning Development Standards. This is based on Early Learning standards for children birth - 5 years old. These standards allow us to focus on social-emotional learning, learning through play, focus' in subject areas, physical development and early reading readiness. We also use a Christian Education curriculum to ensure we incorporate biblical principles in our teaching.
  • How do you discipline?
    We believe in positive reinforcement. We strive to keep children safe while learning what to do and how to interact with fellow students. We tell them what do to do instead of what not to do. We believe that small shift changes a "no" environment to a healthy, growing environment.
  • What is your Covid policy?
    The CLC will implement the Pandemic Section of the Crisis Management Plan under the guidance and direction of the CDC, federal and local government, and the Georgia Department of Health for Child Care Regulation. To ensure the safety of children, families and staff of the CLC, the CLC will monitor and take into account the guidance and suggestions from the authorities on the situation. Decisions may include: -Closure of the CLC – length of closure to be determined by the Associate Pastor of FBCD, following the guidelines of the CDC, federal and local governments, and the Georgia Department of Health for Child Care Regulation -Adjusted hours of service -Daily health checks of children and staff -Limited entry into the building -Limitations on what the children may bring into the CLC, such as blankets, stuffed animals, and pillow
